Needless to say, I have not been motivated to blog AT ALL!!! I do this not for the masses to even care, but for our family log, so I forgive myself, and if you are a family or friend that would like more info, you'll just have to call me!!! Rest assured, there is never a dull moment around here. Except for the one right now that is allowing me to post....
School ends this week, we start hosting Bible Study on Thursday nights here (just for June), Landon is learning how to milk a boo boo for all it's worth( and it is the sweetest thing you';; ever see - besides your own child at this age), still screaming when he desperately needs me, and growing out of 2T clothes!!! what? He is just 20months. crazy.
Dawson really wants to SEE God, he loves his "sleep time", and would really like for me to give him lessons on how to become a doctor when he grows up. It is that or a Sign Twirler (he'd have to learn to break dance to be any good though and I told him that was a little dangerous for one who doesn't like to wear a helmet).
Sawyer is going to have to get a job to pay for all the little gadgets he is into ( spy gear, hand held games...which we own zero, so he thinks he is the only one in the entire world without), he also just finished baseball season, heart breaker, LOVE that it is becoming real ball now and it is so much fun to watch.
Ragan is overworked and stressed most of the time but occasionally will sit with the family without his computer staring back at him, and I.....have lost 15 pounds!!! yah! I am only writing this as my motivation to keep it up. I am counting calories and exercising, you know they say that is what works and I guess they are right. So I get a sticker on my calander each day after I run and I proudly hang it back on the wall for the crew to ohhh, and awweee, and say "Way to go , MOM!? Ha!!! who am I kidding.
I've seen a very large snake ( a gopher, I'm told) and am also a gardener now. We've got tomatoes, beans, peppers, okra, and basil. I am pretty proud of my first one. We'll see how it goes. Ragan's mom was here for a week a little while back and that was great! We loved having her here and I love that she can envision our lives more realistically now that she has seen where we eat and sleep. We took her to see Redwoods and hiked 5 miles one day, went to a Giants game, the zoo, shopping....we had worn her out! Now she is at my sister-in-law's with her crew. We all can't wait to go East in July! Ragan is leaving us in AR for another week after he comes home. That will give us plenty of time to really get to see our friends and spend time with family like we'd like and not be so rushed. I love that we can do that.
I will post pics later. So much more than this, but this is all I've got.
No words necessary!
